I was obviously tired- I didn't get a straight picture of the tree
We helped Emilia open her stocking and her presents. She got Violet the puppy, an "Iphone", a soft dolly, and some stocking things like treats, a book, and a snowman rubber ducky.
Next, we headed to my mom's house to see my parents, Ethan and Jessica, David, James, and Juliet. We opened stockings first. Emilia got an Ariel stocking because she loves The Little Mermaid. Stockings were, as usual, stuffed to the brim with tasty treats! One fun thing this year was the Carl's Cafe mugs my mom got for everyone. We all love that place!
After stockings, we took a break for Christmas breakfast casserole, cheddar biscuits, and fruit salad. Then we got to the present opening. Emilia was very spoiled. She got her own special chair with her name on it. She also got a castle toy, a My Little Pony, a musical drum, a barn, and some clothes.
I love this picture. Juliet was trying out Emilia's chair and wearing the necklace we got her for Christmas. Emilia wanted that necklace. Here she is trying to steal it right off of poor Juliet!
My baby and me
After Ethan, Jessica, and the kiddos left, Emilia passed out from exhaustion. Here she is cuddling with Damma.
After she woke up, we drove to Joe's mom's condo for more presents and a delicious Christmas dinner. Emilia got a beautiful cashmere outfit, some cute clothes from Joe's sister, and a beautiful quilt from Laos which was sent from Joe's brother and his wife in New York.
Pretty Christmas dress
Look at that face!
It was a busy, but wonderful Christmas. It was such a neat experience being a mom at Christmas!
